H&S Kabeltechnik is an Austrian cable assembly manufacturer based in Enzenkirchen. Since 2006, H&S has been developing and manufacturing bespoke cable assemblies – ranging from individual wires and connecting cables to complex cable harnesses. The solutions are developed individually to meet customers’ technical requirements and are produced for industrial use.

H&S Kabeltechnik manufactures a wide range of customised cable assemblies. These include single wires, ribbon cables, sheathed cables, connecting cables, sensor cables, LVDS cables and complex cable harnesses. Depending on the application, different processes are used, such as crimping, soldering, hotmelt overmoulding or automated cutting, crimping and connector insertion.

In principle, cable assemblies can be manufactured for a wide variety of sectors. H&S Kabeltechnik primarily manufactures cable assemblies for the electronics industry, plant and mechanical engineering, the heating industry, medical technology, railway technology, automation, the lift industry, and professional catering and kitchen technology.

Yes. H&S Kabeltechnik manufactures bespoke cable assemblies based on technical drawings, parts lists, samples or individual requirements. A separate production drawing is drawn up for each product. Before series production begins, a sample is produced, together with an initial sample test report, and submitted to the customer for approval.

The process begins with technical consultation with the customer. Based on a drawing, a sample or the technical specifications, H&S draws up the necessary bill of materials and production drawing. A sample is then produced, together with an initial sample test report. Series production only begins once the customer has given their approval.

With fully automated, semi-automated and manual production facilities, H&S Kabeltechnik is able to meet a range of batch sizes and complex requirements. H&S Kabeltechnik processes up to 10 million metres of cable annually.

H&S Kabeltechnik is headquartered in Enzenkirchen, Austria. Series production takes place at the production site of the subsidiary PeMaC in Nagymányok, Hungary. The Austrian site is responsible, amongst other things, for customer support, technical coordination and other central tasks. Daily transport between the sites ensures maximum flexibility.

The production stages are documented in a traceable manner. Before dispatch, the cable assemblies undergo 100 per cent electrical testing and a final inspection. H&S Kabeltechnik is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and meets the requirements of UL certification.

We rely on automatic cutting systems, crimping machines, and semi-automatic and fully automatic machines for cable processing. Depending on the requirements, we also use processes such as soldering, hot-melt overmoulding and 3D printing. Our machinery is complemented by trained staff who carry out and monitor the individual production steps.

100% traceability at H&S Kabeltechnik means that the production stages of a manufactured product are recorded electronically and documented in a traceable manner. Traceability extends from cutting to crimping and assembly right through to final inspection. H&S has been implementing this end-to-end traceability since 2017.

H&S Kabeltechnik’s processes are certified to ISO 9001:2015. In addition, H&S meets the requirements for UL certification. This means that quality management and the corresponding requirements for manufacturing processes are an integral part of the company. Individual products such as lambda sensors, glow plugs and connectors can also be purchased by private individuals from the online shop of our sister company H&S Sensortechnik.
