What does H&S Kabeltechnik do?
H&S Kabeltechnik is an Austrian cable assembly manufacturer based in Enzenkirchen. Since 2006, H&S has been developing and manufacturing customised cable assemblies – from individual wires and connecting cables to complex cable harnesses. The solutions are developed individually according to customers’ technical requirements and produced for industrial use.
What cable assemblies does H&S Kabeltechnik offer?
H&S Kabeltechnik manufactures a wide range of customised cable assemblies. These include, amongst others, individual wires, flat cables, sheathed cables, connecting cables, sensor cables, LVDS cables and complex cable harnesses. Depending on the application, various processes are used, such as crimping, soldering, hot-melt overmoulding or automated cutting, crimping and plugging.
For which industries does H&S produce cable assemblies?
Cable assemblies can, in principle, be manufactured for a wide variety of sectors. H&S Kabeltechnik primarily manufactures for the electronics industry, plant and mechanical engineering, the heating industry, medical technology, railway technology, automation, the lift industry, and the professional catering and kitchen equipment sector.
Can H&S Kabel manufacture cables to drawings?
Yes. H&S Kabeltechnik manufactures bespoke cable assemblies based on technical drawings, parts lists, samples or individual requirements. A separate production drawing is drawn up for each product. Before series production begins, a sample is produced, complete with an initial sample test report, and submitted to the customer for approval.
What is the process for developing a new cable assembly?
The process begins with technical consultation with the customer. Based on a drawing, a sample or the technical requirements, H&S draws up the necessary bill of materials and production drawing. A sample, including an initial sample test report, is then produced. Series production only begins once the customer has given their approval.
What quantities can H&S Kabeltechnik produce?
H&S Kabeltechnik specialises in the industrial mass production of cable assemblies. Thanks to an extensive range of machinery, including fully automatic, semi-automatic and manual production lines, the company is able to handle a variety of batch sizes and meet complex requirements. Up to 10 million metres of cable are processed each year.
Where does H&S Kabeltechnik manufacture its products?
H&S Kabeltechnik is headquartered in Enzenkirchen, Austria. Series production takes place at the production site of its subsidiary PeMaC in Nagymányok, Hungary. The Austrian site is responsible, amongst other things, for customer support, technical coordination and other central tasks. Daily transport between the sites ensures maximum flexibility.

Product traceability is guaranteed throughout all manufacturing processes. Furthermore, products undergo 100 per cent final testing to ensure that customers receive cable assemblies of the highest quality. ISO 9001 and UL certification are essential for us.

What machinery and processes are used in production?
We rely on fully automatic cutting systems and crimping machines. Furthermore, we have over 300 different crimping tools, as well as semi-automatic Lumberg machines, fully automatic Komax machines and a fully automatic Schäfer machine. All these machines, along with many others, and our highly trained staff ensure flawless production.
What does 100% traceability mean at H&S Kabeltechnik?
At H&S Kabeltechnik, 100% traceability means that the production steps for a manufactured product are recorded electronically and documented in a traceable manner. Traceability extends from cutting to crimping and assembly right through to final testing. H&S has been implementing this end-to-end traceability since 2017.
What certifications does H&S Kabeltechnik hold?
H&S Kabeltechnik’s processes are certified to ISO 9001:2015. In addition, H&S meets the requirements for UL certification. This means that quality management and the corresponding requirements for manufacturing processes are an integral part of the company. Can private individuals also order from H&S Kabeltechnik?
Individual parts such as lambda sensors, glow plugs, connectors and much more can also be purchased by private individuals via the online shop of our sister company, H&S Sensortechnik.
