On the basis of samples, drawings and sketches, we develop precise production drawings for each individual solution. This data is made available to you free of charge and once the drawing has been approved, initial samples are produced to ensure smooth series production.
Production process
The following production process ensures flawless production:

- Creating a parts list and production drawing

FAQ – Cable Assembly
H&S Kabeltechnik develops and manufactures customised cable assemblies, with a focus on industrial series production. Depending on the specific requirements, small batches can also be individually tested and produced. The range of services extends from cutting to length, stripping and crimping, through to soldering and plugging, right up to the assembly and installation of components.
The production range includes, amongst other things, single strands, ribbon cables, sheathed cables, connecting cables, sensor cables, LVDS cables and complex cable harnesses. Depending on the specific application, automated, semi-automated or manual production processes are used.
Yes. Technical drawings, bills of materials, samples or individual requirements can serve as the basis. H&S uses these to create the necessary working documents and a separate production drawing for each item. Following technical coordination and approval, a sample is produced, including an initial sample test report. Series production only begins once the customer has given their approval.
H&S Kabeltechnik processes a range of connectors, contacts and connection systems from various manufacturers. Which components can be used depends, amongst other things, on the cable, the contact, the connector system and the technical requirements of the application. The technical sales team assesses feasibility on a case-by-case basis.
When crimping, H&S Kabeltechnik processes conductor cross-sections ranging from 0.04 mm² to 35 mm². The actual range possible depends on the cable, the contact, the tool and the requirements of the respective cable assembly.
H&S Kabeltechnik specializes in the industrial series production of custom cable assemblies and can produce a range of batch sizes. For new projects, a sample is produced before series production begins, together with an initial sample inspection report, and submitted to the customer for approval.
Yes. Cables and heat-shrink tubing can be printed according to customer specifications. Custom markings facilitate, for example, clear identification, assembly and further processing.
Yes. The hot-melt or low-pressure overmoulding process allows cable assemblies and sensitive components to be overmoulded to specification. The process can be used, amongst other things, for protection, sealing or strain relief. The necessary moulds are designed and manufactured in-house. This allows the overmoulding to be tailored to the specific cable assembly and the technical requirements.
Yes. An electrical test and final inspection are carried out before dispatch. This detects issues such as reversed polarity, cable breaks or short circuits.
H&S Kabeltechnik guarantees 100 per cent traceability. The production steps are recorded electronically and documented in a traceable manner – from cutting to crimping and assembly right through to the final inspection. Furthermore, the raw materials used can be traced back to their respective suppliers.
