At the district’s largest apprenticeship fair, visitors were given an insight into the office apprenticeship programme at H&S Kabeltechnik.
On 16 and 17 October 2026, the Schärding District Sports Hall was once again the focal point for young people’s career futures. 70 exhibitors presented their apprenticeship opportunities – and H&S Kabeltechnik was once again represented at the regional apprenticeship fair.
For us, the focus is on personal interaction: What does H&S Kabeltechnik do? What tasks are involved in an office apprenticeship? And what is a typical working day like at our company? At our stand, young people and their parents were able to ask questions and find out more about our company as a training provider.
Experience an office apprenticeship first-hand
Our apprentice, Leni Schatzberger, was also present at the H&S stand. Together with other members of staff, she provided an insight into the office administration apprenticeship at H&S. Speaking directly to someone who is currently undertaking the apprenticeship themselves makes everyday working life more tangible and helps with personal career guidance.
“Deciding to take on an apprenticeship is an important step. That’s why it’s important to us to give young people an honest insight into our company. The office apprenticeship in particular offers numerous opportunities to discover one’s own strengths and interests, thanks to the diversity of our departments – from purchasing and sales to accounts and marketing,” said Christian Hochegger, Managing Director of H&S Kabeltechnik.
As well as the discussions, our demonstration board also offered the chance to get to know our products better and have a go yourself.
