July 2026
Two days full of encounters, insights and shared moments:
What began in 2006 in the living rooms of Christian Hochegger and Markus Schroll has grown into a successful family-owned company based in Austria’s Innviertel region. Twenty years later, H&S Kabeltechnik employs around 30 people at its headquarters in Enzenkirchen and more than 300 employees at its production facility in Hungary. With its recently expanded headquarters, the company continues to grow and has established itself as a trusted cable assembly specialist.
We celebrated this special anniversary together with long-standing companions, business partners and the local community during two unforgettable days.
The celebrations began on Thursday with an evening event for around 230 invited guests. Long-standing customers, partners and suppliers enjoyed the opportunity to connect in a relaxed atmosphere. The evening focused on valuable conversations, reconnecting with familiar faces and celebrating together. Guests were entertained by the Austrian pop band “Die3”, a mentalist and a live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup match between Austria and Spain.
“Celebrating our anniversary with the people who have supported us over the years means a great deal to us. Long-standing partnerships are truly something special and form the foundation of our shared success,” said Andreas Gumpoltsberger, Head of Sales.
On Friday, we opened our doors to the public. Numerous visitors – including families, friends and people from across the region – took the opportunity to discover our company behind the scenes. Guided factory tours were especially popular, offering fascinating insights into the world of cable assembly.
A varied selection of food and drinks, a bouncy castle and many activities for children and adults ensured a great atmosphere throughout the afternoon and evening. The band “RoadSbuam” provided the live music, while presenter Sabine Lindorfer hosted the official programme.
“We were overwhelmed by the incredible response,” said CEO Christian Hochegger. “It was wonderful to see so many people celebrating our anniversary with us and taking the opportunity to get to know our company. The Open Day gave us the chance to share insights into our daily work and enjoy many positive conversations with visitors from the region.”
Another highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a donation cheque to the charity association „Engal gibt’s wiakle“. Mario Großfurtner and former professional handcyclist Walter Ablinger accepted the donation on behalf of the organisation. Together with their team, they covered more than 4,200 kilometres from the North Cape to Natternbach in just 30 days to raise funds for charitable causes. Visitors also had the opportunity to support the campaign with voluntary donations during our anniversary celebration.
The anniversary event also provided an opportunity to experience H&S Kabeltechnik as an employer and family-owned business. “We are delighted to give our guests an insight into our daily work and show what makes H&S special. Mutual respect and appreciation are key elements of our company culture. The successful organisation of this event demonstrates what can be achieved when an entire team works together with enthusiasm and commitment,” explained Melanie Dietach, Head of Customer Service & Marketing.
Our anniversary celebration was not only an opportunity to look back proudly on two successful decades, but also to look ahead. “Our goal is to remain one of the leading cable assembly specialists and to continue developing our company. Close cooperation with our customers, our commitment to quality and our outstanding team are the foundation of our success,” said CEO Markus Schroll.
