This is how Melanie describes her job
I lead our customer service team and personally manage several clients myself. In this role, I oversee the entire process – from order entry and scheduling to international shipping. Close coordination with our production facility, PeMaC , is essential to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In my function at our sister company H&S Sensortechnik, I am primarily responsible for customers in non-European markets and manage our entire online shop.
In addition, I’m responsible for marketing at H&S. This includes defining and developing our brand strategy, organizing trade fairs and events, creating PR content, and much more. In short: everything related to marketing and communication crosses my desk.
The best thing about Melanie's job is
It’s all in the mix! – Because of the different fields, every day brings new challenges.
One of my annual highlights is always visiting trade fairs: out of the office and gaining new impressions. On the one hand, it’s always exciting to see how the planned trade fair stand comes to life from paper. On the other hand, you meet an endless number of new faces from a wide variety of countries – at a fair, it feels like half the world meets in one place. My personal highlight of my career at H&S so far was visiting the Aquatherm trade fair in Moskau: the culture shock was unique.
What Melanie especially appreciates about H&S
For me, independence means having the freedom to organize, plan, and shape my daily work. You can contribute and realize your own ideas. Here, you’re not only challenged but also supported – you can truly feel every day that everyone’s contributions are valued.
Team spirit, to me, means that we all pull together as one team. Offering daily support is a given, and we grow together as we take on new challenges.
Something personal about Melanie
I love to travel.
From the icy cold in Iceland to white dream beaches in the Caribbean: I am open for all destinations. It is important for me to explore the countries on my own: An organized package tour in a hotel complex is not for me.
