This is how Andreas describes his job
My day-to-day work mainly revolves around technology and customer support: creating quotations, approving drawings and working out technical solutions are the order of the day. In addition to my area of responsibility, I look after our apprentices and look after the IT. If you have server or computer problems, I’m the right person to talk to.
Despite all the office work, I’m happy to get out and about from time to time. Numerous customer visits & the odd trade fair are always on my programme.
The best thing about Andreas's job is
Without a doubt: the daily challenges. On the one hand, you never stop learning at H&S and on the other hand, you never stop learning at H&S. One highlight follows the next: I can still remember my first trip to China at Electronica Shanghai 2013 – here you encounter completely different cultures and business conditions. Another big event for me was the acquisition of thefully automatic Komax Alpha crimping machine.
What Andreas especially appreciates about H&S
The opinion of each individual counts: Wishes & suggestions are consciously noticed and actually implemented.
By the way, I also think our building is just great! No gigantic grey bunker or huge open-plan offices in which it is best to always be as quiet as a mouse. You can clearly see that the building was designed with the well-being of the employees.
Something personal about Andreas
As in my job, I’m also a total jack-of-all-trades in my private life: I’m absolutely not a couch potato and simply like to be around people. As a total soccer fan, I love to be in the stadium, and if FC Bayern wins, the day is perfect. But soccer or not, my wife and our two children always come first.
